About me

My name is Federico Weber, I am a former Industrial Designer whose promising career in the field got suddenly disrupted by the encounter with Processing, in the early months of 2009. That got me interested in software development and generative design and in the following months i taught myself to program in P5, developed Xylem, my thesis project and first working software, and got hocked in the digital realm.

Currently I’m working as a Creative Technologist at vanGoGh, a small digital creative boutique in Milan, Italy. In here, as the responsible of the development team, I’m designing and developing web sites and interactive installations.

On March 14 of 2012, at 10:00 am, I’ve become father of a wonderful girl whose name is Cecilia Romana.

This website is kind of my online scrapbook. My intention is to use it as a public repository for my findings and thoughts on technology, design, development and everything else I’m interested in at the moment. It is hosted on Amazon EC2 and it’s running on GestaltApp, the custom publishing platform I’m developing in Node.js.
